The Commander Vorik was attacked by a Malarite. Rumor has it, he left the town to find the drow and demon rumors plaguing the farmers and returned with a torn open arm. No drow was caught, but the soldiers with him talk of a demonic possession, and wolves taking advantage of the blood in the air.

Vorik has kept to himself since the attack.

Rumors quickly spread about three interesting people who were in Shadowdale. The most popular rumor is about how one of them had rushes of light appear in a sphere and would disappear as he stepped inside.

All of them seemed to be wearing the same cloak.

The half-ling Perum Shrensto has been seen lately making out a general call for adventurers to travel to Myth Drannor's Traveller's Star Inn, as there has been a request made by several concerned parties to discuss the recent portal troubles that have taken a hold of the region.

This is an invitation on behalf of several concerned parties within the City of Song, and not an official event sponsored by the upper echelons of leadership of the city.

All adventurers with interest in helping out are invited to come.

Word of mouth is that after a long period of being unnaproachable, Lord Azzalar Falconhand is making an appearance tomorrow morning to take care of concerns brought forth by the adventuring community. Rumors of his appearance sweep the town of Shadowdale with some positive and some negative remarks from many notorious citizens.

It is clear there is some growing concern both for the extended absence of the supposed leader of Shadowdale, and the circumstances that bring him back into the public eye...

Rumor has it that the meeting will take place in the Moonmaiden Temple.

Folks chat at the local tavern regarding some rumors that have been spreading by travellers and foreigners... apparently, them Zhents at Krag are looking after one missing person, one skymage belonging to the Black Network, a diplomat and envoy named Nern Benson. Rumor has it that people who might be or not zhentarim agents in Daggerdale, Scarsdale, Ashabenford and even Voonlar are also spreading word...

Allegedly, anyone with information of the whereabouts of the missing mage is being offered a reward of 10 pieces of gold (10,000 in game currency) for any clue that leads to the diplomat being located. Supposedly the mage went missing about a month or so ago in some specified area between the Dales and the Cormanthor. The man was lost along a domesticated wyvern under mysterious circumstances.
