As the year passes from the summer months, the first autumn bloom breaks in the City of Song. Beneath the edge of the platform at the top of the highest walkway in the city, a large and carefully tended bed of Delphinium, Laelia and others burst with rich blues and tinted whites.
Planted in a wide oval, the colours swirl in careful symmetrical knots. Seen from high above, the pattern is woven about large and subtle lettering that spells 'Shade'. The bed is bordered by a ring that bears clear floral lettering in white.
From the right and over the top to the left, it reads: 'For your light, your warmth, for peace, forever'
Along the bottom in broader letters it reads: 'for Dawn'
