The Selvegartlin Judicator known as Demo'loth can still be seen around Szith-Morcane every few cycles; going about his usual patrol of the Cities streets and grumbling about life, along with the small things of it, in almost a humorous manner.

The errant apprentice has been seen ever-more-preoccupied than usual, attention constantly held to his spellbook while the collection of books on his pack seems to be growing toward something almost ridiculous - some are literally tied or strapped to the outside for want of room to fit.

The distinct lack of hue in his eyes betrays the marks of minor stresses taking their toll. Even his otherwise immaculate robe bears a few overlooked cuts and singes.

Ironically, he seems to have managed to tame his hair.

Chagrin has been busy.

The Yath is alerted by the tunnel guards that a persistent kivvil, (claiming to be) a Zhentarim, is asking for passage through Szith-Morcane. Neer'yl heads to the chasm where the kivvil has been brought, and interrogates him about his motifs.
Using the old ilythiiri wisdom of building up webs of debts and favours to expand influence and leverage, she decides to hone the slumbering agreement between the Zhentarim and the drow of Szith-Morcane. She grants him a supervised passage to his destination in exchange for future favours.

Individuals passing by the academy courtyard, next to the temple entrance can see a growing pile of corpses of whatever type being assembled, giant, goblin and even the Azer .. Legs, bones and hearts.

There is a sign plotted next to the pile: "Yath'Abban Errdegahr's art-resources, do not use without permission! "

Spiral on her way to her office would stop when nearing the Scorcere entrance, blink, sniff and slowly turn to look at the... "Art-Recourses" slowly an eyebrow would perk.

"Oh what is she upto now..."

Shaking her head and with mild amusement she heads inside.

"Let's build a huge pile of bodies, she says. A huge effigy of rotting, dead meat, she'll love that - she says...Ugh."

Chagrin pauses and glances about to be sure that none were within hearing range, invisible or otherwise. Then he resumes his work.

Construction of some large wheelbarrows for those bodies wasn't particularly difficult for a Wizard of his caliber. Some fabrication, some mending, and viola. This was demeaning. This was beneath him. Such a waste of his talent. A waste of his Art.

The task is ultimately completed in little time, just as more bodies begin to pile up. He then makes a point to become particularly obscure and hard to locate for the next few cycles... ~_~

*The generally disturbing sight of a drowess: Errdegahr, donned in whatever blood-smeared attire or an armor would be seen waltzing in and out of the Arcane Academy. She is often heard inquiring about "Apprentice number 1" and assistance in her latest endeavours in artistic hobbies.*

*At the same time, the sight of the grotesque pile of humanoid and monstrous corpses has been piling up, the newly made wagon squeaks and trembles under the weight. Sickly fluids and awful stench floats by its near vicinity. Apparently it does not bother the rather disturbing drowess even for a little bit: A mad glimmer in her red eyes as she is often seen admiring the tower of death, playing with allforms of ways to build and construct it in artistic ways.*

What the- What is she...How long as she been there?! What the hell was she babbling about now...Inane ramblings of a mad woman. Something in her... Aura. Her Aura? What was she..

Panic. Painfully unsharp.

"Ineedallofmybodyparts, Yath'abban." The words just sort of spat out like an involuntary reaction. So hard to see. What is happening? Why? Why am I suddenly so.. I.. I see. Something is obscuring my vision. I can't..

Glint of light.

Oh.. She wouldn't dare.

Move. Simply move.

Just have to.. What? Is she about to move? Is she moving? What.. Why can't I...

Move, idiot! Faster...I .. I can't...

Suddenly, it was so hard to see. Vision obscured in a sea of blood and pain. Yet.. Everything was so clear? Perhaps just shock numbing the pain. He saw himself screaming, doubled over, bleeding. It wasn't a pleasant scene for any that might have witnessed. His eye, cut clear from his socket while the Blood Mistress gleefully accented her new artwork with it. Oh, it wasn't over yet...So much work yet to be done.

*Master Elvlyn is not seen much within the streets of Szith for a few days but instead spends the majority of his time within the Sorcere where it is said he does not wish to be disturbed by anyone than those of higher rank while he is reading through tome upon tome searching for an answer to whatever so occupies his mind. The very few moments each day when Elvlyn is actually seen outside the Sorcere he heads to the Arach to pass the daily test. On his way to the Arach Elvlyn would look at the "artwork" of the crazy Yath'abban, an artwork which now apparently had an eye in it, Elvlyn wondered for a moment what poor soul had to give that eye up then shrugged in an uncaring manner and continued on his way. Elvlyn had assigned Chagrin to the crazy Yath'abban in punishment for not paying attention during lessons and for dallying around during their latest excursion, If Chagrin lived through it then Elvlyn could always ask him who the eye belonged to, in any case Elvlyn currently had much, much more important things to look in to.*

While the elder duergar scope out the fortifications around the old refugee camp, a band of young dirty, smelly and adventurous duergar crawl out of the depths of the earth. They begin exploring a nearby tunnel. *snap krackle pop* They dispose of the beetles and eat the sweet flesh within. It becomes obvious food will not be an issue in these newly claimed caverns.

Scouting reports would come in regarding the discovery of Chagrin's remains at the entrance of the Underdark, where he was promptly recovered and revived.

The primary apprentice to Faern Elylvn uses his rank and influence are duely to suppress 'superfluous details' surrounding the discovery (Spoiling the surfacer's fun, as Drow are want to do Razz

). Simply that the surface venture was fruitful, though the egress...Not so much.

The macabre tower of death seems to have vanished, all traces of it has been utterly disposed, only a burn-mark remains of whatever supposedly took stand on the spot ... The artist herself seems to have followed the fashion, which is a relief for anyone who had to suffer of her and her creation's existence*
