| In Sschindylryn, a steel plate describing the secrets of ancient duergar magics is handed to a hooded grey dwarf. This hooded figure then leaves the city with another duergar, and they make the portal to the crystal Caves and the old drow camp. This time, their discussions are more concrete. The kinsmen scout the nearby areas for other duergar recruits; they talk about training the younglings of the clan, and discuss the layouts of their future holding: buildings, structures, shrines to Laduguer and Duerra, a forge, and more. They encounter a hairy kinsman who has been shunned from his clan and has lived in the wilds for a long time, relying on a mysterious innate power to survive the dangers of the Underdark by himself. He is given the opportunity to prove his worth to the Clan despite his obvious lunacy. The session ends with the group scouting and talking about defensive measures around the camp with the use of runescribe traps.- The role play:
Brilmara Backbreaker: Roit. First there is a fing fer yer keepin' Brilmara Backbreaker: He told me yer ta study this well. Murgal Wyrmsbane: Hrm. Murgal Wyrmsbane: Sure will. Where'd he get this? Brilmara Backbreaker: In his visit ta tha Runescribed Halls. Murgal Wyrmsbane: Oi see. Now tha ye say it.. oi recall he did mention sumthin aboot 'em halls at sum point. Brilmara Backbreaker: An' he cant use tha particular magic himself. "Only Thuldors", he told me. Murgal Wyrmsbane: Oi'll see if oi kin put sum good use ta it then. (...) Murgal Wyrmsbane: Quite tha annoyance 'em beetles. But good fer younglins ta practise on oi suppose. Murgol Backbreaker: Teach em diligence an hard werk fer starters. Murgal Wyrmsbane: *nods firmly* Murgal Wyrmsbane: Har we are. Murgal Wyrmsbane: *he pulls back the hood as he enters* Murgol Backbreaker: *does likewise* Murgal Wyrmsbane: Aye, aye. Murgal Wyrmsbane: *he looks about, leeting the gaze dart from side to side of the room* [Notice] <color=burlywood>Murgol Backbreaker : All dark elves...Fink thar is any drink left fer em?</color> Murgol Backbreaker: Aznn tazhg angath...Waarg k'azh ath azro tharg nawak waah al? The possibilities are endles. *he rubs hands intrigued at the thought* Murgal Wyrmsbane: *endless Murgol Backbreaker: Mayhaps similar rune traps by that bridge outside? Murgal Wyrmsbane: One things for sure. This chokepoint o' a bridge be well worth investing sum toime and effort ta enhance tha defensive measures about. Murgal Wyrmsbane: *nods* Can't see why nay. Yukkre: *taps on wall with axe* Murgal Wyrmsbane: So, wha say ye, Yukkre? Got sum input? Yukkre: Dis rock ist strong, mayhaps make morr rooms. | Upon Headmaster Alaphon return back to the Scorcere from where ever he went to, Uspir returns the title of the Cities Arch Mage and control of the Scorcere back to him, seeming more than happy to return to her Status of one of the Scorcere's Masters. Headmaster Alaphon would be handed a indepth and detailed report of everything that had gone on in the city and in the Scorcere in his absence before uspir returns to her duties.

| A new face has been seen around the Sorcere and the commons, Dil'arra is seen more often than not reading a book or scribbling in a journal. She is usually quiet, but can be overheard talking to her pet spider when it is present. | |

| Thuldor Murgal is reached by a letter from a yathrin that "encourages" him and his budding Clan to increase their patrols in the nearby tunnels of the old Ilythiiri camp. They are to keep their eyes open for Black Archers. To give the drow a demonstration of their capabilities, he and a female fighter scan the areas all the way to the Old Tybold mine for intruders. They determine what different paths down to the Underdark exist, and kill the monstruous beings that attack them, but make sure that enough are alive to pose a threat to foolish fortune seekers. The Clan is put to their first test of internal cohesion when greed and envy get the better of the hot-headed female as they are searching for metals and precious stones on the way back. Grudgingly, however, the matter is solved by the two veterans. - screenshots:

| A few hours later the body mysteriously dissapears. There are a few rumors of some illythiri seeing the body being carried to the Dabel'kith embassy by a black four legged creature with a collar around its neck. | |

| Demo'loth trudges into the Yath, delivering a letter to the Yath'tallars assistant.
The Letter Contains the Following:
Malla Ulath'tallar,
I have received warning from someone who believes they owe me a 'Debt' concerning an 'Expedition' of Surfacers to our tunnels in Search of a staff worth nothing more than sentimental value for one of their own. In this report it is regarded that the group consists of skilled combatants and claim they will 'Cull' our numbers. I am rather baffled and not a tad bit impressed that once again, Kivvils and Darthiiri deem themselves worthy to try to venture into our homeland.
I would suggest we double patrols for the next few weeks or allow Military from both Zau'Afin and Dabel'kith into the City to bolster our defenses in the outlying tunnels. Fortifying the Battered Tunnels is almost a necessity these cycles, as our progress with the modifications of Szith-Morcane seem rather crippled as of late.
With the recent problems of Black Archer infestations and the elven patrol seeking another Rothe many cycles ago, this should be brought to your attention in at least an air of caution. Considering that Szith-Morcane is still... On an off foot.

| If asked by the Ulath'taller, Qu'ellar Dabel'kith will have a Sargtlin Company prepared and armed with protection wands and the first floor of the embassy turned into a temporary barracks. A Faern and Vel'garn support team can be barracked on the second floor if we push the sofas together to make beds and stack the dining chairs against the wall.
A second company is put on high alert in the Qu'ellar itself and ready to go thro our Earth Node within a moments notice.
Our Vel'garn teams in the maze outside the Qu'ellar are also put on special alert. The approach from the Minotaurs put under even more watch than normal

| Chagrin also has a missive delivered to the Yath'tllar, by way of assistant. It's brief and postage-stamped with something expensive. A note wrapped around a jewel or something.

| Guard activity in the tunnels around Szith-Morcane increases noticeably to those who have previously observed it. Yathrin and Faerns now join the typical Sargtlin patrol groups. In addition several Web Golems and slave troops are stationed near the more frequented passageways out of the outpost. | |

Dreaded Ulath'taller and Illharess Council.
With your consent and approval I intend on Mass production of a few styles of wands for the soul use of enhancing our cities guards.
Each wand will have 50 charges
I shall Have 20 wands of Mage Armor & Endure Elements delivered soon
granting a total of 1000 warriors the wards benifits for a number of houses of duration as well as being able to work in the hot or coldest parts of the tunnels.
I will personally cover the cost of this, For House Teken'viir will always do its part and live up to its names sake.
As a note, with funding I will be able to create more powerful wands and magical items for your forces, be it potions of true strike for your snipers, a Sonic Flaming Longswords for your warriors, and wands of blessed weapon for encounters with undead.
In example for only 50,000 gold per wand I am able to make a greater wands of Greater Magical weapon, its duration lasting twenty hours and ensuring that any weapon held is a deadly thing indeed and would be a boon to any guard house or garrison.

| Neer'yl also declares to the Yath that she can provide the armies with long-lasting and powerful blessings, as well as wands of Death Ward, Ghostly Visage, Magic Vestment up to Tier 5, and more. She pays for some of these wands herself, for the defense and glory of Szith-Morcane, and she can produce more of these at base cost (25000 gold, 15000 and 50000 gold respectively). | |

| There was a magical feline beast lurking in the tunnels of Underdark, around the orc tribes. It was wary of the two short humanoids that it encountered there. Slowly retreating to darkness away from them, the beast locked its eyes upon them just in case, suspecting what they may be, as one of them was clearly visible as a dark elf, and other could be that as well. But one of them did not leave it alone, he attacked it while the female only observed. However, this beast was too much for him to handle. The battle ended with his neck into the beast's mouth. After removing the life from the attacker, that beast that was previously trying to avoid confrontation of the Underdark masters, made its way towards surface, without acting hostile to the female drow witness, knowing that there can always be more and that it is wise to retreat. Those who would examine the body would discover that it is a lifeless body of Demo'loth Zau'Afin, and it looks like it has wounds made by claws and teeth in aggressive and feral combat. |

Unfortunately, there was no body of Demo'loth Zau'Afin at the scene. The conflict, when or if witnesses would arrive to the remote, barren location, seemingly having never happened and no one would ever hear about it. Over the next cycle, Demo'loth is seen with Five decapitated heads hooked to his belt. In a sign of his anger, he hasn't even began to clean the skulls, leaving the slowly rotting heads as they were in the moment of death, eyes rolled back or jaw agape. In a closer inspection, it would appear that they were hacked off with a dull object, a sign of brutalization with disregard to how painless or ethical they were. The decapitations perhaps a sign of the Male becoming Fed up with the absurdly large amount of Surface presence in the Underdark Tunnels. The Trophies would be dimensional anchored, to prevent any of that pesky 'Disappearing Act' he had problems with in the past. The Owners of the Severed Heads could be identified as: Ashton Love (Human) Torgeir Lazyson (Human) Ayan Lyon (Human) Gregory Gallomen (Human) Calkin Kistro (Halfling)

| A small group of duergars arrives to the abandoned refugee camp. A gathering of sorts is to be held but the peaceful meeting would soon come to end abruptly. Out of the blue Gols begin swarming the tunnels outside of the camp. With some effort the three duergars manage to repell the attack and slay the Gols who seemed to be under the influence of some curse. Upon closer inspection they discover a strange fluid seeping from the Gols ears. After slaying several waves of Gols the duergars begin to stride across the narrow bridge. They come to a brief and sudden halt as they spot another large group across the chasm. A group consisting not only of Gols, but this time also of drowguards who seems to been driven mad by someone, or something? The group charges the duergars but yet again the three grey dwarves prevails. By the time they reach the other end of the bridge a fourth duergar joins in, the alchemist Runar Goldcrown. The band of duergar gazes ahead and spot something in the distance. An illithid! The arch nemesis of Clan Duergar. A violent battle erupts as the elders Murgal and Murgol engage into the fight, charging the illithid with magics and brute force. The battle is short and the illithid falls dead to the ground. The duergar Yukkre is ordered to gather the illithid's head for a later ritual in honor to the Axe Princess Duerra. The alchemist Runar along with Murgol takes samples of the brainfluids seeping off the drowguards ears, for evidence for the Ulthallar of what's occured. The band of duergars then makes their way to Sschindylryn to send word to the Ulthtallar in Szith Morcane. | |

| A shebali jaluk, who recently arrived in Ssith-Morcane, was cautiously asking around the town about possible ways to get a permission to talk to Ul'ath'tallar herself. Most people were laughing and telling him there're easier ways to commit suicide. Oddly enough, he never tried to approach any yath with his questions. | |

| Shebali suddenly lost his interest in talking to Ul'ath'allar, laughing off any questions about that subject. | |

| Sschyndyrln saw four young adventures looking for violence and mayhem. The two orcs and two duergars spoke of war, new comradery and gifts that would unit them for now. | |

| *the guards would eye them with suspicion but do nothing as long as they only talk. As the gifts are exchanged they simply shrug and continue on with patrolling the city of portals* | |

| Nuli the duergar makes his way to Sszith Morcane to sell some wares, passing by a pair of arguing drow slaves, and decides to do some reconnoitering of the area. In luck, he stumbles across the ravine and its web-ladder. Curiosity was one trait that his elders had never been able to quite beat out of him, so he scuttled up the web. Lo and behold, he eventually found the slaver's camp just a little out of the way, operated by his kin. He sits by the fire, swaps stories, cruel jokes, and sets out on a mining survey of the nearby corridors. Several veins prove passably productive in gems, which he provides to the trader at a discount in exchange for news and information about their camp's comings and goings. | |

| Following the instructions of his elders, Nuli, now of Clan Grimfell, begins examining a peculiar stonefall in the Meazel swamp. As he was told, the boulders seem to be blocking some manner of hold, keep or shaped edifice. He spends countless hours examining the rocks, testing his pickaxe here and there in the seams between rocks, looking for a weak point to exploit. On the rare occasion that he takes a moment to clear his head, he sets about slaughtering what unfortunate Meazels happen to come across his path and tearing up the odd plant or mushroom. Primarily though, his focus is on finding a way to break through the blockage and explore what may lie on the other side. | |

| Yathrin Neer'yl and faern Zin are seen frequenting the Sorcere and at one point visiting the third floor of the Dabel'kith embassy as well. Aside from once when the jaluk is punished with an assault of negative magic for being obstinate, they seem to be engaged in a study that take up their mutual interest. Their talks include, among other things, capturing a kuo-toa for interrogations about geographical features of the Lake of Shadows, the nature of aboleths, and more. Zin is ordered to hastily acquire a map of the Surface, with as much geographical correlates to the Deep Wastes as possible in it, for example a miner's map. | |
