A paladin in plain clothes speaks to the guards (ironhouse halls)

*Kali waits by the forge for the work to be done*

Silphie awaits the sword on the roof patiently, inspecting the details of her protection circle. She would cast a few wards herself - protecting herself from alignment, negative, and death.

As the sword finally is arrives out of the anti magic field, if Elric was also out of the anti magic zone, he would once more find himself wanting back HIS sword, suddenly it would all make sense, his so called friends, had lied to him, tricked him into handing over the sword, and because they could not use it for themselves they now seek to destroy this noble and holy blade!

A few days after having visited the halls with Cleophus, Lucent would reach out to Valtore again to see what's new with the destruction of the cursed weapon. He would join him on the roof or he would simply wait for the thing to be complete.

With the paladin currently drinking away his troubles with whiskey and the forge primed and ready Valtore nods to sSilphie to do her thing with the sword. Soon this should all be over.

Having also gone to the bar to sit and drink, Elektra looks over at Elric in his misery. Seeing his suffering , she was deeply moved... Yet... realizing how deep his pain must be , she speaks out to him in order to provoke him out of his pit...
"So... Ya wanna keep the self pity down to a roar , over there... I mean really... You already know from your own past, all this makes you stronger ... One day... Which is pretty much how you got this much faith now.... which is basically why you are back in this pit now. . ..strange , ya , i know.
But now, I do understand ... You are in hell right now... The same place I just got out of... But , anyway... Here is the thing, once evil has a grip on you , it spirals you down , deeper and deeper... Until there is no more light above you. Yes, you feel hopeless and lost, but help comes to you from the most unexpected places... Like maybe a hand reaching down from one who was not so far from where you are... Or maybe some one who just left there.    You may not have the power to just jump right up like a deer ... But, you do have two things far more powerful... The freedom to take the first feeble step in the right direction ... and someone who knows and understands your suffering and doubt to help you take that step.
However unlikely it may seem to you, Lathander has heard your prayers, and placed us where he calls us to be."

*Elektra comes over to the table and lays her hand , palm up on it, as she sits across from Elric*
  "Take my hand to know that you are not alone. . . .  envision in your mind your life free of these curses. . . see yourself breaking the bonds of this sword by visualizing the wicked beings that stand just behind it, laughing . . .  hate them. . hate the works they bring. . . cleanse yourself of all soil that is of them. . . let not your heart be a place for curse nor magic from that sword to hide. . .  its destruction may depend on it.
I am predicting the destruction of the blade will only make it reappear at the same stone they found it in. . . because. . . this may be a magic free zone, but i am not so sure it is a curse free zone. You must be sure , when they destroy it, that it can not seek you again, but instead , will return to the stone , as it says it will.
   Ancient wisdom is agaisnt us, but trust me, we can, and i have. . .beat it. So can you. So Will you. So ARE you.
   Be the paladin of light that you suffered to become, the power of your god is with in you, you only need clear the way for it to shine  . . .  one small step at a time . . ."

he laughs and puts the glass down

"How ironic can life be when t'was i that came to help thee redeem thyself and here art thou redeeming me."

he looks distastefully at the bottle

"I nay worry for death. A paladin takes his oath knowing he may likely die in battle.
Verily the thought had crossed mine mind to go out and die in battle against evil than to simply rot like this idly without the brilliance and warmth of the rising sun upon mine face. but my brother and thyself among all those dear people hath shown me the light of hope.

I will desist with this... indulgence but it deprives me of the wicked thoughts. mayhap there is a way... mayhap thou or another arcanist can use some form of spell that would give me rest.

I nay speak of the simple sleep spell but dreamless sleep.
Such would be a great relief to me until the matter is resolved."

he disdainfully puts aside the bottle and glass

he orders 2 jugs of water next to clear his head. a controversial move in a dwarven bar.

As the Thane is well known to drink water and they likely scoff at the preconceived and stereotypical notions of outsiders of the dwarves and Ironhouse Clan. They would readily have what is ordered on hand.

*grasping his hand , she continues in a firm tone*

She pauses , and then whispers out, almost to herself ," the inscription did say that if the hero fell, the blade would return to the stone . . . if all fails. . .maybe trip to the fugue. . . "
*rubbing her face and squinting, she answers herself*
"Ahh, just another quick fix. . no."

I would like to be there with Kali, though since she is only running a bellow I wouldn't be hurt if I missed it.

He'd prayer to Lathander first and foremost in great length then to Tyr , Torm and Ilmater as patrons of the values each paladin upholds
