The Ziran mushroom infestion is centered within the ruins of the Old Elven Court. It is huge, a vast network that roots into the earth, connecting to each other like roots to a tree. It is allowed to keep any souls the infected slay but in return it can't be free of the contract until every elf and Eilistraeean in this region is dead.

The devil and the mushroom's growth is linked somehow and also, the mushrooms infect everything. Trees, spirits, animals, humans, elves, Everything. It turns your sight red, fills you with the desire for destruction. It can take over your body and make you hear voices.


The cure is to put the victim to sleep, physical deep sleep, and then cast a full Restoration on them. Ensure before you release them from any bonds that they truly are cured.
