Hanging of a Rebel Leader

A dirty, hungry boy is given a loaf of bread and a message and sent into the street.

"Hear ye, hear ye! The Zhentarim be pleased to announce the capture of a rebel leader! The tiefling Hilra, Lieutenant to the rebel lord and bandit king John Blackwell himself hangs within the week!"

Hearing the news the young agent perks an eyebrow before wondering of to the inn to weave a small web that they hoped at least would ensure their hanging was delayed until they could arrange a rescue. Once the letter was complecte the agent would leave the inn via the window in the dead of night and head to the ruins of Elminsters Town, sneaking into the tower they would climb the remains until at the top, remaining with in the shadows as the agent attached the message to a arrow after taking their time to aim and whispering a pray the shadow would let lose the arrow, if the arrow hit true, the arrow would thud into the door of the zhent garrison. Once done the hidden agent would slip away back to the room window, where they were last seen.

*Zade looks up from the bulletin board in Shadowdale, where he has spent the past few minutes correcting all the spelling and grammar mistakes on the commoners' postings (complaining the whole time about uneducated rabble, but thankful that all of the Zhentarim got their postings right).

As he listens to the boy's message, a thin smile creeps across his face.*

"A hanging - and of a rebel, no less! How exciting! This should be even better than the beheading of that dwarf a few days back."

*Zade proceeds to make a mental note to himself to attend the hanging, if he can.*

'Bout time they cull'd the herd, how many goats they gonna let chew on the fodder of humanity before they move onto other pastures.

*Anafrey walks by as she hears the news. She shrugs and walks on*

"Nae surprise there. Shuild hae been more careful.." She mutters to herself.
