The Coronal reads the letter.

This Defender, this ex-Defender, could not understand the need to banish one who openly stated they would not obey the laws of Myth Drannor?

She had valued the Defender's perspective and indeed shifted her policy a little in the direction Anadra had suggested, but she had to weigh far more in the scales than this one young and undiplomatic girl seemed to understand. Did she not even understand the need for laws, even when they were unpopular?

The Defenders needed people who understood more than one point of view and was adult enough to refrain from such foolish comments as 'mindless golems'. Or suggesting that the rules of the City did not care for its best interests.

It was better to have soldiers not headstrong and over-opinionated Kin, and this Anadra was not the only one who did not reach this standard.

She wasn't going to reply to this letter, but she was very close to taking other actions to ensure only the best remained in her Defenders. Those who understood military matters and military need, and able to defuse delicate situations as well as take a firm line at need.

She also needed counsellors who could put the points that this girl had, but more wisely.

A letter is delivered to the Coronal - and the Coronal only.

Mylady,

I have restrained from writing you about that for months because I didn't want to waste your time with it. But I have come to a point where I simply can't stand it any longer.
I want to be put on a trial before an elven court to once and for all solve the problems between the elves and me.
I'm tired of being called "Zhent lover" and I'm seriously disappointed that I was even tricked into not being part of the rescue of Shadowdale's farmers, something I happily offered my help for.
(I spent two entire days at the place I was told to meet the contact at, just to learn afterwards that there was no meeting point there at all).

I have for sure done at least two very stupid things - the open insult on the Armathor out of anger and frustration and the out-knocking of Arjay during that unfortunate incident at the river near the Crossroad a few months ago - but I am not what I am treated as and called since then.
And I want to proove that during a trial.
You may assign whomever you see fit as judge and I will accept whatever the judgement may be.

Respectfully,
Jeyana Merryfoot

Jeyana Merryfoot.

We do not see the need for a Trial. We suggest that we meet briefly to discuss the incidents.

Hello my lady,

I am here with a suggestion I'd like to bring up infront of you to improve position of the city in the nearby areas and the situation of the refuge camp itself.

I'd like with your premission start a small field hospital in the refugee camp. We have many refuges from all around the area the look for shelter and need medical assistant and some of them are not allowed inside the city itself yet.

I am positive that there are many adventurers that would gladly voulenteer to help us with taking care of ill people.
I also hope that this hospital will encourage people to take the path of the divine art which the guard and the city lack at this moment.
I volunteer to start it and work there day and night untill I will have the proper assistance. I hope that my teaching and experience in field first aid and healing would help others to walk the same path.

A medium tent with few beds will be enough I believe, so funding it will not be a problem as work there with no voluntary and without fee.

Regards

A note arrives, along with a sealed scroll.

Milady,

This night, the Blackarcher Ciardha asked me to deliver this letter. I have done so in hopes that he has, by chance, seen reason. I have, naturally, checked the scroll for any spells upon it or any other sort of treachery.

Yours in the service of the People,

Tarsakh 15, 1378
To The Coronal

The drow Eilysia Aelitace has requested I send you a letter regarding Ras and the slaying of the drow Lael'min.

She informed me that Ras claimed that he did not partake in the slaying of the drow in question, I would not see lies remain beyond the tides of war, so I would have you know this to be incorrect.

At the time of her slaying, it was myself, Ciardha Nyilas, and Ras that both entered combat with the drow, there were three onlookers at the time, Falco the half-blood who fled, another elf, and a human.

My Lady Coronal,

I hope this letter finds you in high spirits and good health.

In a very strange turn of events involving the rescue of two individuals from the Lolthite camp below, we were put in the position of being asked by Wythran, a Black Archer, to save Ciardha from these very same Lolthites. We did so, and the action gave them both much to think upon.

To make a rather long story short, we have engaged Ciardha in discussion and have managed to forge something of an agreement with him. It will be a long, hard road to walk, but so are most things worth doing. Wythran too seems to be turning from his hate, slowly.

I tell you this because it provides logical grounds for the purpose of my letter.

You indicated in letters past that Ras was found innocent of raising his hand in violence against Lael'min. We have so far felt otherwise, for several reasons. Rationally, if he truly felt her a Lolthite, he should have attacked. If not, leaving the life of an Eilistraeen in the hands of a Black Archer is akin to leaving the life of an elf in the hands of the Zhentarim. A hateful action, in either case.

We further had the eyewitness account of Falco, which you will find included with my letter.

In a conversation with Ciardha, I asked that he tell us of Lael'min's death so that members of the Shard may put the matter to rest in our minds. The differing accounts has left many of us confused. He freely told me that both he and Ras participated in Lael'min's murder. He further agreed to send you a letter more formally stating so, which you should have in your possession soon, if not already.

My Lady Coronal, we hoped this would come to trial so that such evidence could be presented and ruled upon rather than resorting to hasty action. We have promised Ciardha, however, and now we promise you. We will not touch Ras. We leave his punishment, if any, in your capable hands. The truth of the matter has been revealed, and we feel Lael'min can rest in peace.

Despite the horrible things Ciardha has done, and may do, we have offered him our forgiveness as a Shard. I do not believe he is truly remorseful, for now, but these roads must start somewhere, and we cannot turn him from hate if we hate him ourselves.

As such, and I realize this is not my place, so please forgive the presumptuous request, I would like to formally request that Ciardha's banishment from Myth Drannor be lifted. We no longer hold malice towards his person and would prefer to see him among the kin he seeks to protect, rather than an outcast in Shadowdale. If there is anything we can do as a shard, or I can do personally in order to realize this request, please let me know.

It has additionally come to our attention that even our very rare appearances in Myth Drannor continue to provide fuel for hate and strife among the elves. Therefore, the three drow allowed into the camp -- Maya, Lorena, and myself -- have all agreed to cease visiting Myth Drannor's lands except under official invitation. We hope that doing so will mend some of the internal strife Myth Drannor currently seems to suffer.

Finally, I would like to reiterate our desire to speak with you in the near future in order to come to a more formal understanding, and agreement, as to the relationship between the Cormanthyr Temple and the City of Song.

Maiden's Blessings,
Eilysia Aelitace

(( Attached is Falco's letter ))

Quote :
I Falco bare statement here to the events leading up to the loss of your friend Leal'min

I headed towards the Ranger Camp around mid day with wares I need to trade. Ras was there with the company of three.
One at least was human, one was a black hooded elf with a bow and seemed like he was battling a physical illness kind of
like he was dying a slow death. The third I am afraid I do not recall. Might have been a human or an elf. Ras was the only
I knew by name.

I made the trade without a single word being spoken between me and the company. Then when I turned around the hooded
one let go of an arrow that got me in the shoulder. I charged him and Ras joined in the fight. I dropped the hooded one
knocked him out cold. And me and Ras fought for abit. Ras started to lose and the human started aiding him with spells
I knew I couldn't win. I asked Ras why he was attacking me. His response was that I wasn't on his list he had checked. This
did not make a whole lot of sense and I had up to now only thought highly of Ras. I retreated feeling this would not result in
anything good. Ras yelled after me that he was going to make an application for me.

I retired at the Royal Oak in Rimwood. That is where I met Leal'min. She was new to me and I questioned her thinking she
might be a Llothist. I had not spoken to her long before but I could hear the dark maiden in her words. She was very much
a follower of The Dark Maiden and instantly I felt at ease around her. She asked me if I could join her for a walk. She had
this feeling of being at unease. I could not refuse the offer. We walked towards the crossroads, crossed the lumber over to
the Beastmen Field and headed towards the mountain. Before reaching the mountains we made camp in a clearing at the
edge of the Forrest. I was tired from my fighting and asked her to take the first watch. I slept like a baby not a care in the
world. When I awoke evening had fallen and I could hear and argument some distance from the camp.

It was Ras with the same company as before, the hooded one, the human and the third one I dont recall much. The third
one was though holding a bow at Leal'min along side the hooded one. She was trying to convince them that she was of
the Eilistraeean faith but Ras talked about the list again. Said it only contained three names trusted. They argued back and
fourth but I was too tired to pay much attention to it. But battle seemed to draw closer with every passing word. I honestly
did not feel it would serve us in any way to battle them. And I suggested that we would make a run for it cutting down
elves is not something I like doing.

Leal'min agreed with me and we made a run for it. But they all mounted a bow and opened fire. I felt kind of lucky not a
single arrow seem to hit me but when I looked back I could see why. Leal'min had turned back she knew only one of us
could out run the arrows. And like a true Eilistraeeist she cleared the path through the darkness to guide me toward safety.
I could see Ras removing his blade from her stomach. She fell to the ground I looked toward her I wanted to try to rush to
her side. It was too late. She turned her head towards me too weak to speak but I knew the word all to well. ,,Live"

I honored her last word and ran.

The Coronal reads the letters from Arjay, from Ciardha and from the Diplomat in succession.

"strange turn of events" the Diplomat called it. That sounded an understatement. A private letter is sent back.

Diplomat Eilysia Aelitace,

We have received these letters. They provide Us with a quandary. The half-Dhaerow Falco is known to Us and We believe he holds some grudge against Us. The Black Archer's testimony We are unsure what to make of. He is banned from Our lands but his words are most unexpectedly in support of yourselves.

We will consider what to do in the matter of Defender Ras.

Regarding your other request, can you confirm you are truly asking for the Black Archer to be re-allowed into Our lands?

We will not rescind the permanent permission for the three permitted Eilistraeens to come into Our lands. This decision was made months ago and will not be changed.

We agree to meeting soon. We would prefer it on Our lands if this is acceptable. A strong escort will be sent to accompany you to ensure your safety should you agree.

My Lady Coronal,

Yes, to confirm, we request Ciardha be allowed back into Myth Drannor, his exile to be put to an end. Again, I realize that the issue is likely more complex than what we wish in the matter. However, for what say we do have in the issue, if any, we would prefer to see him able to walk freely in Myth Drannor.

I look forward to meeting with you soon.

*A sealed letter designated to Coronal of Myth Drannor. The text within shows elegant, flowing penmanship.*

Coronal of Myth Drannor,

I hope this letter reaches you for I have a desire to be of assistance to the people of this region. As I've been asked to help Myth Drannor by the High Harvestmistress in Shadowdale herself. I was also trusted well enough to be asked to help people migrating to Myth Drannor. To which I've already done to a degree.

I've taken time to look around and speak with various people in this region, and note what will be needed in the coming days as the population increases around here. I'd like to give several suggestions for this region, but my main focus for the time being is the triage center, which will only see more people in it as the days pass. To say the least, it's inadequate for Myth Drannor's needs. Wounds suffered in every day activities due to human and elven fragility alone leaves people commonly visiting the place, not including the wounded during attacks. This comes from my personal efforts to help Gode tend to the injured.

Initially I was going to send you a letter asking permission to start an infirmary here but instead I shall change it to this : if you'd allow it, I'd like to discuss plans for something larger, something to not only tend to a greater number of people, but to do so in better conditions, also train others interested in the medical field, and house those interested in caring for the sick, injured, and immigrants. Though if you're not open to discussing this with me in person, then I must urge you to expand the triage center a great deal more, it's inadequate for the people's needs.

There is also another matter I believe will interest you. Normally I'd bring it to Sherne, but he has waved me off for the most part these days. Which delayed me from informing you that I and several others scouted out a region and I, since I was the only one to keep track of our movements during the expedition, have mapped an alternate path to Myth Drannor. I've labeled spots of danger, the paths used, what to expect on the way. And locations that would be suitable for camp sites to be made. I won't go into details, nor hand over the map via letter and will only do so in person. My apologies for that, since the only other I've met, and would make best use of this, has shown a disinterest in it entirely.

I'd appreciate to talk with you in person about this eventually, rather than simply by letters. As I believe I'd be able to better convey my interest in helping this region, beyond simply an exchange of letters on parchments. Not to mention go into greater details about what means I wish to help out. I can occasionally be located at the new triage tent should you have a desire to write a letter back to me.

Sincerely,
Attis - Priest of Lady Firehair

My Lady Coronal,

I write to inform you of a modification to the list of drow under the temple's protection. May'katcha Irae'ryne is to be removed.

There was no great betrayal, nor has she been caught working with any known enemy. Instead, she disagreed with our actions to forge peace with the Black Archers, and others, and has since severed her ties with us.

While the possibility remains that we may work with her in dire circumstances -- such as rescuing others from the Lolthites -- any such cooperation should not be misconstrued as some sort of meaningful alliance. The Shard's and May'katcha's paths diverge from here.

At this time we, as a Shard, bear no hostility towards May'katcha. She will not be under our protection, nor will she be hunted or otherwise harassed by us. Should she begin to work evil upon the land, however, that would change.

Maiden's Blessings,
Eilysia Aelitace

Coronal,

You may have only briefly heard my name, but I am Calisea Den'Trathil. I am a druid learner of the circle and bring news from Mia.

The Ziran mushroom infestion is centered within the ruins of the Old Elven Court. It's massive, a vast network that roots into the earth, connecting to each other like roots to a tree. Among that, a devil resides there tasked by the Vhaeraunites to maintain the gfroth of the Zran. It told Mia that it is allowed to keep any souls the infected slay but in return it can't be free of the contract until every elf and Eilistraeean in this region is dead.

The devil and the mushroom's groth is linked somehow and also, the mushrooms infect everything. Trees, spirits, animals, humans, elves, Everything. It turns your sight red, Fills you with the desire for destruction. I was able to keep my mind during it but my body was not my own. Mia kept hearing a voice, it wasn't the devil's but it was a voice nontheless. The source is unknown at this time.

Please spread this news far and wide, Mia has requested that this information came to your ears first before anyone elses.

Thank you,

Calisea Den'Trathil

Calisea Den'Trathil,

Thank you very much for this news. We are glad to hear you and Mia have been cured.

We are told through the Eilsitraeens that the way to cure the disease for living beings is to put them to sleep physically then cast a restoration on them. We hope that this will aid you.

We will circulate the news immediately.

Lady Coronal,

Here is an intelligence report the traitor Gul Ka'rik gave us on House Zau'Afin. Please give it to your Defenders so they may better know our enemy. I understand you may feel some of this information may be falsified, but I assure you much of it is very, very true and can be used to your advantage.

She received most of her her religious training from several local Yathrin including Shyntra. In spite of her station below she has always acted more like a Sargtlin than a Yathrin in some respects, preferring to stab and cut a bloody path to power as opposed to embracing the fine and subtle web that ensnares. She generally has all the subtlety of a rampaging Orc when she is provoked or challenged in even the slightest way. Eloril believes that the more blood she spills and cruelty she inflicts the more Lloth favors her. She lacks a strong ability to manipulate others or spin complex webs to confuse and bend others to her purpose preferring brute force to break the will of those she is interested in, or break their necks. Eloril has always been particularly headstrong and arrogant even when she was a Yath’abban of the Kor’ali Qu’eller. The fact remains that the more powerful she becomes below the more brazen her actions will be. This has always been her way and nothing can truly satisfy her desire for power and dominance of the Har’oloth.
Indications and warnings lead me to believe Eloril works in conjunction with Yath’taller Eclav and Yathrin Shyntra for now. I say for now because in the Har’oloth all trust is foolish and the word abbil only goes as far as the uses of another. Her continued oppression of rivals such as Lidtichi Debel’kith below has allowed her Qu’eller to swell in numbers and made for a swift ascent to personal power and favor of Lloth. For some unknown reason she has always focused greatly on the torment of all surface dwelling peoples as opposed to the retaking of the old depths of Maerimydra. This is especially true when it come to the Shard of Eilistraee and Darthiiri of Myth Drannor. She seeks to aid Shyntra’s plan of causing divisions between us and others who walk the surface through lies, schemes and the undermining of faith and trust that has been built. However she can’t resist her savage nature for long and her desire to see blood spilled upon the grass. Many of the surface raids in recent months have been planned and executed by her personally.

Eloril has been offered the message of Eilistraee, shelter, aid and teaching and naturally refused it time and again. She is not just some lay follower of Lloth but the matron of a Qu’eller of the drow below. It is therefore my recommendation that he should be considered a dangerous enemy of all who dwell upon the surface with no hope of redemption. Darthiiri should show her only the mercy of a quick death. The same should hold true for Ilythiiri if even the slightest indication of battle as a long pattern of rampant violence has been established.

Eclav Zau’afin – Yath’taller (High Priestess of Lloth)
Where the Ilharress is the leader of any Qu’eller she will always have a Yath’taller to remind her of Lloth’s will. She serves as the Matron’s advisor in all matters religious whether the Matron likes it or not. Eclav is an old jalil and very skilled in the drow ways of manipulation and cruelty. She is a very traditional Yathrin that will seek to gather the useful to her and leave the culling of house Zau’afin to Eloril and others more suited for slaughter. Eclav is quite smart and was one of the few in the camp that I remember using jalukin as testers of food and water in order to avoid being poisoned. She is fond of the little cruelties in life that make the har’oloth a place where fear, hatred and suffering are all common, but she is far less chaotic in nature than many of the other Yathrin. Unlike many of the others she has patience to see her schemes through.

It is believed that while she does not come to the surface often herself that she is behind many of the more cunning plans or at least partially responsible for them. These include such things as the abduction of May’katcha months ago, continued attempts to get May’katcha and others to return and serve her and the Zau’afin, The tasks mentioned elsewhere undertaken by Nil’kah, and most of assassination and infiltration missions conducted by Xin’salar. Do not let her venerable age fool you though. She is very capable of calling up the dark and chaotic powers of the Demonweb Pits to maim or kill an enemy or otherwise bend them to her will. She often joins her Matron Eloril on surface raids and delights in overseeing the screams of the dying.

Eclav has been offered the message of Eilistraee, shelter, aid and teaching and naturally refused it time and again. She is not just some lay follower of Lloth but the imposition of Lloth’s will among the drow below and forcing the religion of Lloth upon all.

Lil Qu'ellar Jabbukin (The House Masters)

Dillara Zau’afin - Qu’el saruk (House Weapon Master)
Dillara was once one of the triad of heretics who roamed about in the har’oloth. She was often hunted by the drow below and in return she hunted them just as often. With the murder of those she fraternized with such as Izz and Renor Rah she was forced into hiding, but seems to have emerged and is now serving the will of the Yathrin. It is said that she worshiped Auril for a long time and rumor has it she may still secretly do so. This could present complications for her if it is discovered that she is still following Auril so if that is the case she will be very secretive about it. She seems to be a typical selfish jalil in most respects and serves as the personal protector and Qu’el’saruk, or house weapon master of Matron Eloril Zau’afin.

She is known to have participated in some surface raids and abductions and rumored to have participated in many more. She should be considered dangerous and untrustworthy given her position of power below.

Xin’salar Zau’afin – Qu’el Velg'larn (House Assassin)
A cold and ruthless jaluk who is fanatically loyal to the Yath’taller Eclav; acting as her assassin and messenger. I knew this jaluk below some months ago. He would often be gone from the har’oloth for days on end collecting information on and targeting followers of Elistraee as back then he was a simple velg’larn. He took shelter with the shard months ago, but this was part on an infiltration mission. I know this mission because I personally oversaw it.

He was gone from the surface for some time but in the past weeks he has come back to the surface with a vengeance and new missions. Currently he goes about on the surface impersonating us and committing atrocities while doing so. When he tries to commit such acts his words are usually something like “Eclav sends her regards”, but sometimes he will just try to deliver a demoralizing message or brag about the growing power below. He seems to have grown in his abilities to manipulate other, particularly jalilin. Or maybe it is just that Ne’kalsa and her cursed Kor’ali blood make her stupid and wanton all the time? Xin’salar as a very capable at hiding himself and prefers to quickly subdue and kill or maim his victims then disappear into the shadows. He has at least some arcane ability and it seems access to magic of the 7th arcane circle.

He has been offered and repeatedly refused the message of Eilistraee. Instead of embracing this or any other path though he has time and time chosen the path of the hidden blade and the deceptive tongue. It is therefore my recommendation that he should be considered a dangerous enemy of all who dwell upon the surface with no hope of redemption. Darthiiri should show her only the mercy of a quick death. The same should hold true for Ilythiiri.

Lil Qu'ellar floh'lin(The House Followers)

Nil’kah Zau’afin – Bae'qeshel (Dark Minstrel)
Some disarm and kill their enemy with a sword breaker. Nil’kah disarms her foe with her tongue and the half truths in the air that pass her lips. She is an expert in the manipulation of others and nearly as good as any jaluk (male) in the arts of seduction. She is often fond of feigning frailty in order to exploit situations she finds herself in that may become hostile. She would most likely try to turn friends and lovers against one another and watch with a secreted smile on her face as they cause harm to each other than fight directly. She has done this or tried to do this on many occasions in the past months. She will often try to pick up on something her victim is interested in and steer the conversation toward it in order to get them to relax their guard. Failing that she argues in circles as many Llothites will do.

Oddly enough she has heard the call of Elistraee before but she did not really give the message a chance to take hold. This was some time ago in other depths near Menzoberranzan. She claims that she tried to escape the constant death and treachery of the Har’aloth, but felt nothing among our brothers and sisters so she returned to the Har’oloth where Lloth and the Yathrin rule. It was clear from the conversations that three of us had with her that she really did not try to understand at all. She seems to be tormented and twisted in both her heart and mind. She claims often enough to be overwhelmed by some sense of sadness, but admits that she has no understanding of things such as love or friendship.

I believe she presently seeks to manipulate both of May’katcha and I into revealing the location of the glade, betraying the shard somehow or turning us against one another through manipulating our past connection with her and the perception that she has not betrayed us to the Yathrin or hunted us. While she keeps her word not to harm May’katcha or myself directly, indications and warnings lead me to believe she is reporting every meeting to the Yathrin and she is only using us to complete her tasks handed down by the Yahtrin in order to gain more power and more favor from Lloth. She is also know to be on assignment here from the Yathrin to scout the surface in preparation for follow on attacks by Qu’eller Zau’afin.

She has proven to be quite capable of attacking or defending using the discordant melodies what are favored by Lloth. Nil’kah is confirmed to have been a direct and willing participant in much of the recent chaotic slaughter; raiding the surface on the whims of the Yathrin. Her dark chaotic melodies are to be considered as a threat every bit as dangerous as one of my Meteor Swarm spells.

Try to avoid meeting with her at all, but if you must meet with her at all do so on the surface far from any passageway into the har’oloth (underdark). Her favored meeting place is the caverns where the fire lizards dwell, below the Old Skull Hill in North Shadowdale. If she tries to coax you to go where beyond the locked passageway do not under any circumstances follow her through the passageway. This places you and the entire shard at risk to do so. The only exception to this should be in the case that we have overwhelming hidden numbers to counter attack is she springs an ambush on us.

She always returns below once her treachery and sewing of discord are complete. She should be considered a dangerous enemy of all who dwell upon the surface. Even when Ariyana and I offered her a place and shelter so that she could try she said she needed to go below for a few cycles first. She said she would return and stay with us awhile but did not seem confident such a thing would last. However there is a small hope that it will. Either way steps have been taken to ensure that we know once and for all if there is any hope of redemption for her.
It is therefore my recommendation that she should be considered a dangerous enemy of all who dwell upon the surface with only ONE more chance to prove her words true and reach out to us as we have to her.

Ginthrae Imafey Zau’afin – Faern
Nothing is known of this jalil save her name and status as an arcane practitioner below among the Zau'afin. This one has not been offered the message of Eilistraee yet.

Therefore it is my recommendation that if we are given the opportunity we should approach with caution and offer her the message of Eilistraee.

Edrik Zau’afin – Yath’Sargtlin
All that is known about this jaluk is that he is somehow so loyal and true to Lloth that he is actually considered part of the Yath. Two drow fled the surface appearently because a jalil was severely beaten when this jaluk questioned her and she acted as Yathrin will. I find this tale difficult to believe as the very idea of a jaluk in the Yath is something unthinkable to those true to Lloth’s whims. The sargatlin part of his title leads me to believe he is some sort of new jaluk unholy warrior that I am not familiar with.

This one has been offered the message of Eilistraee by Eilysia and others yet rufused prefering death. WHile the offer has been given we should not give up so easily and continue to try.

Eghlinn Zau’afin - Velg'larn

Lil Qu'eller Zau’afin Rothein (The House Zau’fin Slaves)

Biddybok – Rothe del Eclav
A Deep Gnome rothe not seen in some time on the surface, but he may appear again. He is the rothe of Eclav and quite cowed and loyal to her. He used to act as Evlav’s second set of ears in the camp. He was only seen on the surface some months ago and briefly. Since he has not been seen in some time it is reasonable to assume he is dead, kept below or otherwise indisposed.

No recommendations given at this time.

Jane – Rothe del Nil’kah
The half-drow is currently on the surface to gather information and cause discord at the command of Nil’kah in order to further Nil’kah’s prestige and position in house Zau’afin. She is a willing rothe it seems and either does not know any better or is so infatuated with her jabress that she no longer cares for anything but Nil’kah. It is equally possibly she fears the clergy of Lloth more than anything and sets out upon her tasks for that reason. However I am skeptical of the second theory. She will try to disarm your mind by playing on your desire to help her and take pity upon her. Jane seems to be rather brazen in her efforts as of late while conduction espionage on the surface.

She has been offered and repeatedly refused the message of Eilistraee, the same holds true when lesser offers of shelter, food and clean water are offered. She has been offered and repeatedly refused the message of Eilistraee. Instead of embracing this or any other path she chooses to remain faithful to Lloth, the yathrin and her jabress and continues to commit espionage in broad daylight. It is therefore my recommendation that he should be considered a dangerous enemy of all who dwell upon the surface. Darthiiri should show her only the mercy of a quick death. The Ilythiiri should watch her carefully and at the first sign of trouble give her the mercy of a swift death.

Unknown – Rothe del Nil’kah
Nil'kah has recently claimeda second rothe but nothing is known about this one yet.

Snitch – Rothe del Dillara
This Deep Gnome is sent up to gather information and report it back to Dillara. The rothe has accidentally betrayed his Jabress who is Dillara by revealing sensitive information about the schemes being plotted by several Qu’ellar in the Har’oloth. This Gnome is currently in the employ of Erthinidia for profit.

It is my recommendation that we allow Erthinidia broad leeway to execute his plans regarding the rothe in conjunction with a misinformation campaign.

Coronal,

I have bear witness to something that I must bring to your attention for good or ill for it speaks directly to the cooperation of the defenders and their effectiveness. There are many who speak to them being a collection of unorganized individuals incapable of getting anything accomplished that does not fit within the realm of their interests. This up to recently was just a rumour to me.. however, the rumour was given form watching a group of Defenders respond to a threat.

Possibly surround by foes the first concern of a few was fashion and the wearing of a cloak. The bickering in the group that gathered was long and finally a decision was reached. Recommendations by others not of the defenders were summarily ignored, calls to haste unheeded and gerenally an unorganized mess.

With that said there was one before others arrived that seemed to have the situation in hand. Arjay. He spoke to a scout who followed his directives, the Black Archers supported his deicsion for he seemed to naturally slide into the place of command. Oddly enough this control evaporated when his own people arrived.

Given the rumours and what I have witnessed so far, i would heartyly recommend that Arjay be given a field command at least in some way as to be able to make recommendations with the back of authroity in the field. I know little of your heirarchy, the way of nobles, or what has been earned or not earned. However, I know leadership when I see it. I know control when I see it and when a storm hits that is the type of person you need.

I am no one to the defenders or you my Coronal so my recommendation comes as an outsider looking in, I would however consider it with great thought. Our church is very militaristic and organized in such a fashion to make war. That is what we do. Every day. Arjay has that leadership potential and I myself will look to him in situation where we are side by side. I can only hope other defenders and yourself see the wisdom in this state of orgnaization in order to accomplsih the missions as they occur and not lose such to bickering and bloodshed.

Arjay knows nothing of this recommendation not my appraisal of his abilities.

*A letter finally returns*

To: Attis
Priest of Lady Firehair

We have been remiss in replying to your letter. We will indeed meet with you for a short time. Regarding the triage centre We ask that you speak to Svenja Stark too and perhaps bring her if you wish to that part of the meeting.

*a wax sealed letter on parchment bearing a symbol mostlikely never being seen in this land, when opened reveals a practiced elven script*.

Coronal of Myth Drannor,

I pen this note to someone I have never met, and for that I regret that our first interaction has to be scribbled on paper. It saddens me that you will not be able to see the sincerity on my face or the tone of my voice as to understand my true respect I have for your culture and people. I've spent the last few days looking for work around the surrounding areas and find that I feel most comfortable here in Myth Drannor. It is with my utmost repect that I humble request to assist you within you library. I find the building amazing not only architectually but the books within to be a valuble asset to the community. Alas, with all my time there I have not seen a curator or libarian. If you have need of one I Would like to offer my assistance, as my pursuits in my arcane studies and artificing do not lead me down the road of an aventurous spirit.

My Lady Coronal,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.

I am pleased to announce that we have a name to add to our list: Ea'raldor Rashereth. He has spent a great deal of time with us in the glade and has now progressed to the point where we are ready to declare him under the temple's protection. You will find a sketch along with this letter.

Maiden's Blessings,

*A couple letters are sent out. First to the highest ranking person in the Defenders, and a second to the Coronal of Myth Drannor. Both letters are exactly the same*

I write this letter to you because there is a great problem i feel must be brought to your attention. Recently a Red Wizard of Thay was given permission to visit Myth Drannor and the regions under the city's control. I feel this will only lead to ruin for the region, as this will only be the beginning of their activities.

Red Wizards of Thay give up any sense of human morality upon becoming what they are. They look out for themselves, caring nothing about who or what pays the cost. But solely focused on gaining the upper hand, be it in power or money. With the presence of the Red Wizards, they'll begin to do business here, then they'll want to have an entire Enclave. Next they'll corrupt the people and foul this entire place. This city should disallow them entry here, for they make even the Zhentarim's actions seem like nothing.

The actions of the Red Wizards is appalling and cruel beyond compare, save from the Drow and their actions. Those people will manipulate and murder - though those fates are less worse than the cruel experiments they've done on people. They'll strike deals with demons and devils for gain, they'll perform dark rituals of necromancy. If they feel there is a point to it, they'll deal with not only the Zhentarim but even the dark-hearted Drow that this City considers an enemy. They'll stomp on the rights of others and enslave people, selling individuals as little more than animals. To take it a step further, they'll sell body and mind destroying drugs.

This isn't a judgment based on race nor just first images. This is one based off knowledge that people share on the Thayans, on their activities both in Thay and outside of in their Enclaves. If you value this land to be a haven for the free people, the lives of those living here, and the safety of every person, please disallow any of the Thayans here. They'll only corrupt and ruin this place, this City of Beauty. And it'll only be a matter of time before this place is as dark and cruel as the cities around the Moonsea or Thay

*A reply letter is sent*

Coronal of Myth Drannor,

I'm sorry, I don't know the name of the individual. But he's very distinctive. As with all Red Wizards, he's bald and his head is covered in tattoos. His face seems to have taken the brunt of a mutilation, his one eye is missing and the entire side of his face is covered in scars. And being that he's proud of what he is, he doesn't hesitate to wear the red robes given to true Red Wizards that have proven themselves.

If I could provide more, I would. I apologize that I didn't get his name, neither directly from him, nor from any others.

Though you have my thanks for the hasty reply and willingness to hear my warnings.
