Completely agree with you, the "great druid" was a nutcase that didn't listen to a bloody thing she was told, and the circle ended up paying for it again. Not even sure she's still around either, haven't seen any signs of her, yet Lhanir still leads the circle after the gnomes principles last I heard.

Building a wall along the whole river, or just the ones in this area? Along the whole river seems a bit over the top, and I'd actually have to disagree with that, it would disrupt the animals abilities to drink quite a bit.

If you need anymore help from a druid, feel free to send someone to the Lyon forest, again, just make sure to send someone the guardians knows, they've recently been instructed to shoot on sight, with the number of aggressors and threats in the woods, we can't really take many chances anymore. And as for the reasons you haven't seen me or my kin recently, Leo and Maya have grown tired of the threats and hostility of the dalelanders, so it's pretty much just me and Aesa that still go outside the forests, and I'm only doing it rarely.

Having dug the trenches from the keep walls towards the river, two round holes at the courners for some towers as well as a long one for the new gate Valtore supervises the laying of the foundation stones for the walls. Each wall must be wide enough for kinsfolk to easily pass each other. He inspects it closely and brings Storm along showing him what is being done and how.

Elektra comes from the Halls, seeking Valtore, and gazing at the construction. She would easily respond to any who spoke to her.

Bryanna stands there having followed her out, her greeting ignored. The scowling expression making it obvious what she thinks of Elektra dismissing her without a word.

Valtore is currently sololy focused on the foundation stones of the walls and teaching Storm dwarven building techiques. He will like be at this for the next day or so. He just waves Elektra towards Bryanna or she can sit and wait as he must deal with this first.

Taken by all the goings on, the amount of construction and the number of folks present, Elektra watches a moment before realizing that Bryanna is there.
"OH, hey, hi there. I came here at Valtore's invite, but had no idea all this is going on. Certainly none of this is my business, but i might share a warning that we encountered on building walls at our location. I can tell Valtore and whomever , that druids are very upset over all this building and intervening in the natural order of the woods and lands. I have personally over heard such discussions, and i am very worried now that this project might be at risk as ours was.
Shadow druids, who are insanely opposed to all such works of progress, cursed our walls, and we are having to tear them down. A project of this dimension would be terribly costly to have to undo , then rebuild again.
I would suggest heavy guards with a 'slice first , ask questions later' order, to any who approach the wall construction."
*She then takes a moment looking at Bryanna before speaking*.
" Ya know, i may take a while to get over the past, i keep expecting you to yell out to everyone here something about a pact. "

"If I discover there is a pact here to be yelled about, the only sound you'll hear is the whisper of a blade leaving its scabbard. As for the druids, if they chose to bring the eminity of the dwarves down upon themselves as well as the ire of Myth Drannor's mighty host they can chose to do so. The cycle of life will roll forward and they'll be ground to dust to be forged anew as we all someday shall be." Bryanna says this with a quiet surety, before smiling and going on in a lighter tone.

"That said, the halls are a welcoming place. If we have the guards taking an aggressive stance to random visitors it will hardly stay that way. We'll stick with trying to work with the druids to minimize the damage done I think. Surely even the most stubborn must see that their efforts are better spent stopping the destruction being caused by far less scrupulous sources than a small clan of dwarves and their cohorts." She motions around. "Not to mention at least for dwarves aside from a few fields and fortifications they tend to build up and down, instead of outward."

"What brings you to us today, Elektra?"

Elektra pauses , having just endured a veiled threat about a pact no longer in existence, and she momentarily weighs the value of how to respond.
After a chain of thoughts streak through her mind, she settles on :
"Nothing , really. Just came at an invitation from the head guy. I do hope to look foreword to an alliance with Ironhouse and House Mystria. But perhaps this is not the time to discuss any of that.
Everyone can relax, I will be going now."
With a kind smile, she turns to leave.

"Well if its an alliance you're after you should probably spend some time with us. I've never known the dwarf to trust someone they weren't at least familiar with, Elektra."

She giggles and looks away a moment.
"Ah well, I caught Valtore fishing without a license in our pool. Yet, before I pressed the issue of fines and jail time , hard labor , and such, it was obvious that it was as much a joke and a chance to meet , as anything else.
He and I did speak a time there, trading ideas and he invited me... I am not sure if what I was wearing had anything to do with it, but either he had something in his eyes , or ... Well... Anyways.
I do hope for a clear alliance now ... Since I honored him with permanent fishing rights! "

Having finished laying the base stones Valtore does a final inspection. Once finished he instructs the workers to continue construction. He also seeks out Bryanna. "Lass ye had ideas how ta make tha walls stronger by adding holy water ta tha filler. If ye would instruct them how it was done we should do that as well. I will be takin Storm here inside ta start crafting golem bodies fur Silia's enchantin." With little more he heads inside with Storm in tow heading to the forges.

"Wait Thane.... I dont know anything about how it would actually get put together.. it was an idea. How would we accomplish it?"

"I was under tha impression ye had a plan of somesort Lass. It will take a while fur tha walls ta be built. Perhaps ye can get an answer before they seal tha top"

"Well my idea was to have tubes running thorugh the filler that was filled with holy-water. Not like the grenades but blessed water. I think it might stop incorpreal ones from passing through the walls, but I have no way to test it."

Valtore nods as he begins to heat up the forges they will be using. "Talk ta Cleo perhaps? Tha Lathanderites are known fur fighten undead. Perhaps they may have some insight. It will take a while as tha walls are built before all tha filler is added. Also make sure tha guards are watchen tha walls at qlk times fur these 'shadow druids'. Captain Celovar is in Myth Drannor checken on Arya I think."

I'll Check with Cleo, but it might be better if you give the guards the orders yourself. This way i'm not stepping on toes not being ranked or such.

Sometime shortly after Electra wanders off, a lanky, grey-clad man is seen poking around the edges of the building site. If approached, he would smile politely and make a request.

"I was hoping to secure a brief audience with the Thane. Tell him Dannyl is here."
